Rubber machine, namely rubber machinery, is a machine used to manufacture various rubber products such as tires. The following is a detailed introduction to rubber machinery:
I. Classification
Rubber machinery mainly includes three categories: general rubber machinery, tire machinery and other rubber product machinery.
1. General rubber machinery: It is a machine for preparing rubber or semi-finished products, including raw material processing machinery, rubber mixer, extruder, calender, cord canvas pretreatment device and cutting machine, etc.
Rubber mixer: It is divided into two categories: open and closed. Open rubber mixer is mainly used for hot refining, sheeting, rubber breaking, plastic refining and mixing of rubber. Its structure is relatively simple and is still widely used in modern times. The closed rubber mixer (internal mixer) has an additional internal mixing chamber, which is mainly used for plastic refining and mixing of rubber. It has the characteristics of high speed, high pressure and high efficiency.
Extruder: It is used to extrude tread, inner tube, hose and various rubber profiles, and is also used to coat cable and wire products. The most common one is the screw extruder, whose working principle is that the rubber material is stirred, mixed, plasticized and compacted in the barrel by the rotation of the extrusion screw, and then moves toward the head of the machine, and finally extrudes a certain shape of product from the die.
Calender: Mainly used for gluing or rubbing of cord canvas, laminating, laminating and embossing of rubber materials. The main working part of the calender is the roller, and the number of rollers is usually 3 or more.
2. Tire machinery: including tire forming machine, tire wire ring machine, tire shaping vulcanizer, capsule vulcanizer, cushion belt vulcanizer, inner tube joint machine and inner tube vulcanizer, as well as bicycle tire machinery, tire retreading machinery and recycled rubber production machinery. Tire machinery occupies an important position in rubber machinery, because more than 60% of the world's rubber is used to make tires.
3. Other rubber product machinery: used to make other rubber products other than tires, such as seals, pipes, rubber shoes, etc.
II. Development history
The development history of rubber machinery can be traced back to the 18th century. For example, in 1795, Joseph Bramah of England manufactured a manual piston extruder for making seamless lead pipes, which is considered to be the world's first extruder. In 1826, open rubber mills began to be used for production. In 1879, the world's first screw extruder was born. Since then, various forms of screw extruder machinery have appeared in large numbers, and different specifications and varieties have been fully equipped to meet the requirements of different product performance characteristics.
III. Application fields
Rubber machinery is widely used in the rubber products industry, such as tires, seals, pipes, rubber shoes and other production processes. They provide important equipment support for the production of rubber products and promote the development of the rubber industry.
IV.. Market status
At present, China has become a major producer and consumer of rubber hoses in the world. China's rubber machinery industry has also achieved leapfrog development, with sales revenue accounting for more than one-third of the global rubber machinery, making it a major producer of rubber machinery in the world. The focus of the world's rubber machinery production has gradually shifted to China, and China's rubber machinery industry has broad development prospects.
