First, it is important to know that some head sizes of our Augu motorcycle tire building machines are universal. This universal design is to bring more convenience to customers who produce tires within a certain size range. Specifically, the head for tires below 14 inches is a universal type. If all the motorcycle tire models you produce are within this 14 - inch and below range, this single universal head will fully meet your production needs. Similarly, the head for tires above 16 inches is another universal type. For customers mainly producing tires of 16 inches and larger sizes, this universal head can also ensure stable and efficient production.
However, there is a special situation you need to pay attention to. If the motorcycle tire models you plan to produce happen to span these two universal size ranges — for example, you need to produce both 13 - inch tires (which belong to the below 14 - inch range) and 17 - inch tires (which belong to the above 16 - inch range) — then you will need to purchase two different sizes of heads. Because a single universal head can only cover one size range, and it cannot meet the production requirements of tires across the two ranges. This is not a design defect, but a necessary arrangement to ensure the accuracy and quality of tire molding. Different size ranges require heads with corresponding specifications to ensure that each tire is formed in accordance with the standard, so as to maintain the good performance of the final product.
Regarding the purchase of the head, we have a clear policy. Each Augu motorcycle tire building machine will be equipped with one head when it leaves the factory, and this head is already included in the quoted price of the machine. You don’t need to pay extra for this initial head. When you place an order, you can confirm with our sales team which universal size head (either the one for below 14 inches or the one for above 16 inches) you need according to your main production needs, and we will match it for you. If your production needs require an additional head (for example, when your production models span the two size ranges mentioned above), you will need to purchase this additional head separately. Our sales team can provide you with the detailed price and purchase process of the additional head, and we will also ensure that the additional head is delivered to you in a timely manner to avoid affecting your production schedule.
